When you talk about your loving relationship and the loving ways you treat each other influencing others, I totally believe you! Your modeling -- which you do naturally, not because you're trying to teach people something -- probably has a profound effect on the environment around you.
The funny thing about organizing is that it has to attract people -- I mean, building people power is what it's all about, right? -- and so often the long hours and the cranky, critical, crisis-driven atmosphere turns people off instead. So to be able to do long hours and maintain patience, humor, respect for each other, and loving kindness is really a gift. I imagine that's part of how you're strengthening the movement there.
